ROGER COTTON HISTOPATHOLOGY PRIZE 2013

The journal Histopathology continued its tradition of awarding the Roger Cotton prize for the most oustanding original article to be published in Histopathology in a particular year. The prize was awarded to joint first authors Dr Teresa Marafioti (left) and Dr Christiane Copie-Bergman (right) for their paper entitled 'Another look at follicular lymphoma: immunophenotypic and molecular analyses identify distinct follicular lymphoma subgroups", which appeared in Histopathology 2013; 62; 860-875.

After the Dinner on the 21st November 2014, during the BDIAP Scientific meeting on Gynaecological Pathology, the President, Dr Alec Howat, presented the Division's Cunningham Medal for service to the British Division to Professor Michael Wells. Flowers were presented to Mrs Wells (right).

At the same event, Dr Howat also presented the President's Medal for service to education in pathology to Professor Ian Ellis and flowers were presented to Mrs Ellis (right).
