Applications are now open to trainee pathologists from the BDIAP Schools who would like to attend the BDIAP-BSG Symposium on Lower GI Pathology on Friday 23 – Saturday 24 November 2018 taking place at the Royal Institute of British Architects, London.

Am I eligible?
These bursaries are specifically for pathologists in training or within 2 years of having been appointed consultants who are members of the BDIAP.
Only applicants from the 3 BDIAP Schools will be considered. The British- Sri Lankan, The British -East African and The British -Arab school.
There are six bursaries available.
How do I apply?
Please complete and submit the online form, including a 150 word statement as to why you should be given one of the six bursaries available. Your application should be endorsed by your Head of Department together with the names of 2 referees.
The Education and IT subcommittee will consider all applications and award them.
The bursary will comprise a maximum sum of £2500 to cover return economy airfares and accommodation in London for the duration of the meeting on production of receipts. Registration to the meeting and conference dinner will be paid for directly by the BDIAP and attendance at the conference dinner is required by all bursary recipients.

Successful applicants will be notified by Tuesday 30 October 2018.
