Bursaries and Grants for Trainees

The BDIAP is keen to assist in the education of trainees in pathology and provides some funding for this:

Trainee awards for the USCAP meeting 17th-23rd March 2018 – The BDIAP has two awards available to cover registration, accommodation and travel for two trainees who have had an abstract accepted at the USCAP meeting in Vancouver in March 2018. Please send abstract details and your details including confirmation from your head of department/ educational supervisor of your trainee status. Please apply to Dr Nafisa Wilkinson at nafisa.wilkinson@nhs.net. The closing date is December 31st 2017. Please note that these bursaries are available for trainees from the BDIAP home countries as well as the UK.

BDIAP Trainee Bursaries – bursaries to attend BDIAP meetings in the UK. The bursary covers the cost of registration at the meeting and a contribution towards the cost of travel and accomodation.

BDIAP Educational Fellowships – funding for travel to other institutions to learn pathological techniques.
