BDIAP moves to RCPath Building, Alie Street London

The Committee of the Pathological Society of Great Britain and Ireland and the Council of the British Division of the International Academy of Pathology are pleased to announce the move of the combined office of the two organisations to the new Royal College of Pathologists’ building at 6 Alie Street, London from Tuesday 30 April 2019.

The office is situated on the 7th Floor of the building and will be the base for the Administrative staff of the organisations with immediate effect.

The new BDIAP contact details can be found here.

Both organisations have worked closely with the RCPath in planning for this move and both are extremely grateful to Professor Jo Martin, President RCPath, and Daniel Ross, CEO, for facilitating this exciting new development. BDIAP and PathSoc see the move into the RCPath building as a great opportunity to strengthen our links as sister organisations, building on recent successful joint ventures especially the annual joint meetings. This move demonstrates our solidarity with the RCPath as it moves into an exciting new phase for UK pathology, but also more broadly for European pathology in view of the links between PathSoc and the European Society of Pathology and the coverage of the BDIAP in Belgium, the Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland.

We are sure that members of the two organisations will be impressed by the facilities at 6 Alie Street when they visit or attend meetings there. We are looking forward to working more closely together as two of the major societies in UK and European pathology in the months and years ahead in the great environment of the new RCPath premises.
