DESCRIPTION:The joint RCPath and BDIAP Foundation and Undergraduate Taster Event 2023\, is an exciting opportunity for medical undergraduates and Foundation Doctors to explore pathology and see what the career has to offer.\n\nThis virtual programme will be delivered with a mixture of specialty-specific sound bite videos from a variety of consultants and trainees (sent to attendees a few days before the meeting)\, followed by a live virtual session\, which will take place in the evening and last approximately 1.5 hours.\n\nIt is free to register.\n\nThe Foundation Taster Event will take place virtually via Zoom on Wednesday\, 28 June 2023 at 7pm.\n\nAttendees will have the opportunity to explore:\n\nwhat pathology actually is and why it is importantwhat the training involvesthe variety of opportunities that are available for trainees to pursue e.g. teaching\, molecular and digital pathologyadvice about the application process and how to be successful at the interviewhow to pursue academic and research opportunities in pathology.If you have been considering applying for specialist training in pathology and would like to know more about the different specialties\, make sure you register for this event to explore the exciting opportunities that our pathology specialties have to offer you!\n\nView event details and programme\n\nFor questions about this event please contact the RCPath Events Department by emailing meetings@rcpath.org.  \n\n
