The BDIAP is launching a new category of membership for junior doctors who are qualified but not yet in histopathology training, and the aim is to increase awareness of histopathology career opportunities and encourage speciality applications.
The benefits of this membership include • FREE yearly membership • Opportunities to attend BDIAP events (with free registration at trainee meetings) • Bursary opportunities • Events specifically for foundation/intern members • Mentoring scheme to support foundation members to get taster opportunities, and offer careers and applications advice • A new online forum, as well as social media will alert members to suitable meetings and courses • Links to trainees and consultants who can offer taster days and career advice • Support and advice from BDIAP trainee councillors

Foundation Taster Event – 29 June 2019
The newly launched RCPath Foundation Taster Scheme is an exciting opportunity for foundation doctors to explore pathology and see what the career has to offer. It combines a clinical taster day in your region with an event to be held in our fantastic new RCPath College building, sponsored by the BDIAP.
