In accordance with item 12 of the BDIAP CIO Constitution, nominations are invited for three councillors, to serve on Council for three years from 2025-2027.

Dr Katalin Boros, Dr Abhisek Ghosh and Professor Manuel Rodriguez-Justo retire from their roles on Council at the end of 2024 and we are therefore looking to appoint the following Councillors:

  • One Trainees Councillor
  • Two UK Councillors

Council currently consists of eight Councillors, of which five represent the UK, one represents Ireland, one represents Belgium, and one represents the Netherlands. In addition, there are two Trainees Councillors and one Allied Scientist Councillor.

Current members of Council can be viewed here.

All Councillors are expected to attend two Council meetings per year (usually in London) and expenses will be reimbursed. Councillors have to represent the views of our members and assist with the organisation of meetings and other activities of the Division.
