  3. Biennial IAP Congress

The IAP conducts biennial scientific meetings. The current scheduled congresses are:

  • 2026 - Fukuoka, Japan (Oct 8-13)
  • 2028 - Toronto, Canada
  • 2030 - Singapore

BDIAP Members are entitled to reduced registration fees at the biennial congresses.

Bursaries are made available for Resident and Allied Scientist Members who have had an abstract accepted at the IAP congress.

BDIAP also supports attendance for BDIAP Schools, including the Nermin Durakovic bursary. 

IAP2026: Vision for the Future

The XXXVI Congress of the International Academy of Pathology, IAP 2026, will take place in Fukuoka, Japan hosted by the Japanese Division of the International Academy of Pathology. 

  • Abstract submission is open.
  • An outline programme is available to view.
  • Applications are open for bursaries to attend the Congress.
