BDIAP Seminar for Trainees in Histopathology

Approach to Cut-Up; Macroscopic examination as the precursor to accurate microscopic interpretation

This event is primarily for:

Histopathology Trainees and Allied Scientists

Event Date:

5th March 2024

The 16th BDIAP Approach to Cut-Up Study Day

The study day provides an opportunity for attendees to learn more about how to tackle some of the complex specimens that they may encounter in their departments.

The study day will be of particular benefit to those perhaps just beginning their careers in Histopathology, as well as more senior trainees looking for revision opportunities ahead of the FRCPath Part 2 examination. However, it will also be useful to any histopathology trainee/specialty doctor who wishes to expand their knowledge and refine their current approach, and for our allied scientist colleagues who are actively involved in specimen cut-up, with a dedicated ‘top tips’ talk.

Presentations are delivered by top histopathologists in the field with plenty of diagrams, hints and tips to demonstrate important principles.
