As a member of the BDIAP additional reductions are available not only on the Study Days registration fees, but across all BDIAP events, including the joint BDIAP/Pathological Society annual meeting and other IAP events.

In addition to reduced meeting registration fees, access to meeting material post-event is available for BDIAP members.

The BDIAP subsidises subscription fees for trainee and affiliate members, with fees starting from as little as £10 per year. Free membership is available for Foundation doctors (conditions apply).

BDIAP members also have access to the many BDIAP bursaries on offer.

Subscription fees are tax-deductible in most countries.

Study Days Frequently Asked Questions

I am not a member of the BDIAP. Can I attend the Study Day meetings?

Yes, you can attend the meetings. You will need to register as a non-Member when booking your ticket.

Individuals who are members of the BDIAP or another IAP division may register at the IAP Member rate.

If you are not a BDIAP member but a member of another IAP division, proof of membership must be provided via email to the administrative team. Registration will not be complete until proof of membership has been received and you have received acknowledgement.

BDIAP Members do not need to provide proof of membership as this will be checked by the BDIAP Administration Team.

Where are the Study Days taking place?

The study days are taking place at 10 Union Street, London, SE1 1SZ. Travel information is available here.

Are CPD points available for the Study Days?

CPD will be sought for the study days.

In 2024 6 CPD points are available for the Molecular Pathology and Approach to Cut-Up Study Days by the Royal College of Pathologists for each programme.

Medical staff and clinical scientists in career grade posts who are enrolled with one of the Royal Colleges for CPD purposes and attend the meeting will be entitled to receive CPD credits.

Certificates will be made available to attendees, post meeting.

I am no longer able to attend the Study Day(s), can I get a refund?

Registrants can receive a refund up to 7 days prior to the event start date. Please contact the administrative team to request a refund.

Will the content be available on demand?

Presentations will be recorded and made available, where speakers provide permission, to all registered delegates for a period of 3 months following the meeting. Following the initial 3-month period, the material will be made available for BDIAP members only.
