Approach to Cut-Up

Bursaries

Apply for a BDIAP bursary to attend the Approach to Cut-Up or Molecular Pathology Study Day, taking place in London on 2 and 3 March 2026. 

Bursaries will consist of free meeting registration and a financial contribution towards travel and accommodation. 

A total of six bursaries are available for Residents and Allied Scientists to attend the Study Days.

Five bursaries are available for Foundation Doctors to attend the Study Days. 

All applicants can choose to attend one or both study days.  

All applications will be formally reviewed by the Innovation Subcommittee. 

Am I eligible?

Applications are open to: 

  • BDIAP Member Country Trainee Members (UK, Ireland, Belgium, The Netherlands).
  • BDIAP Member Country Affiliate and Allied Scientist Members (UK, Ireland, Belgium, The Netherlands). 
  • BDIAP Foundation Doctor Members. 

How do I apply?

  1. Your membership record must be up to date. 

  2. Complete an online application form. 

  3. Your Clinical Lead/Head of Department/Laboratory Manager/Line Manager/Dean (“your referee”) must complete and submit the verification document.

Key dates: 

  • Closing date for Resident and Allied Scientist applications: Extended to 11 January 2026.
  • Closing date for Foundation Doctor bursary applications: 11 January 2026. 
  • All applicants notified of the outcome of their applications: 20 January 2026.
