The 11th Junior Academy Summer School

On behalf of the German and British Divisions of the IAP, The Junior Academy Summer School took place in Riga, Latvia on 8-10 August 2019. the event was administered by the German Division of the IAP.

The International Junior Academy is particularly aimed at pathologists in training and in the post training period. It provides a great opportunity to meet with experts and discuss selected topics in depth. In addition, you can meet colleagues from other countries and exchange ideas.

This year’s Summer School included the following topics:
• Breast Pathology
• Soft Tissue
• Lymphoma
• Uropathology
• Dermatopathology

Bursaries

  • The BDIAP made available 4 bursaries available for BDIAP Home Country applicants (UK, Ireland, Belgium and The Netherlands) to attend the Summer School

  • The bursary consisted of free meeting registration, hotel accommodation and reasonable travel costs.

  • Additional bursaries were available via the Summer School.

  • Bursary deadline – Friday 3rd May 2019
  • Registration deadline – Wednesday 15th May 2019
  • Cancellation deadline – Wednesday 15th May 2019 (no refund is allowed for cancellations received after this date).
