We are honored to invite you to the upcoming 16th Bryan Warren School of Pathology, scheduled for 4-5 November 2023. This year's event is designed as a hybrid symposium, it allows for both in-person attendance in Sarajevo, BiH, and global online participation.
The School is organised jointly by the British Division of the International Academy of Pathology (BDIAP), and the Association of Basic Medical Sciences FBIH.
This year, our focus is on Genitourinary Pathology. Our distinguished speakers, Dr. Murali Varma and Dr. Lisa Browning, both esteemed Consultant Histopathologists, will provide insights into the most significant aspects of Genitourinary Pathology and address practical issues of relevance.

Dr. Murali Varma
Consultant Histopathologist, University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff
Chairman, British Association of Urological Pathologists
Dr. Varma is a world-renowned Uropathology expert, noted for standardising global reporting of prostate and bladder cancers. With diverse training from India, the UK, and the USA, he brings extensive experience and a commitment to evidence-based surgical pathology.
Dr. Lisa Browning
Consultant Histopathologist, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford
Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer, University of Oxford
Dr. Browning is an acclaimed pathologist, honored with the Golden Microscope Award and the Cunningham Medal. She holds key roles in BDIAP and BAUP, and is an active Oxford PathLAKE team member. Known for advancing postgraduate training and digital pathology, she is a leading expert in Uropathology.
