Ghent Pathology 2025

Invitation from BDIAP President

Dear Colleague

I would like to warmly invite you to the ‘Ghent Pathology 2025’ conference, which is jointly organised by the BDIAP, the Pathological Society and the Belgian Society of Pathology (BSP).

This meeting will take place from 24-26 June in Ghent, and is a sequel to the series that also included ‘Maastricht Pathology 2018’. It promises to be a wonderful conference, with a diverse programme, many well-known speakers from the BDIAP area (UK, Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium) and beyond, and some great keynotes, including a public lecture by the new head of the ‘WHO Classification of Tumours’ programme, Dilani Lokuhetty.

The location will be the ICC in Ghent, which is a purpose-built venue situated in Citadelpark and a nice stroll away from the stunning historic centre of Ghent. We are also looking forward to some excellent Belgian culinary hospitality including a reception at the ICC, and a conference dinner bordering the river Leie.

Registration will remain possible for some time, but the time for submitting abstracts is running out!

I strongly encourage you to make the most of this opportunity to be a part of Ghent Pathology 2025. Whether you are submitting an abstract or attending the conference, it will be an enriching experience for all involved. I hope to welcome many of you to the conference.

Jan von der Thüsen, BDIAP President.
